It can increase the bioavailability of joint protective agents, such as green-lipped mussel powder, glucosamine, MSM, and collagen. It prevents the formation of free radicals. It contains vitamin A, B, C, E, and K, folic acid, and flavones, and is as well a natural antioxidant.
Dogs can synthesize vitamin C. However, considering the burden from exposure to urban lifestyle, stress, exhaust fumes, and toxic substances, a small amount of extra vitamin C – as additional support to the immune system – is a welcome addition.
