Supplements for Coat, Skin and Claws

Providing supplements for the skin, coat and claws can be effective in promoting a healthy and shiny coat, healthy paws and healthy skin. All our supplements at Raw for Paw are made from 100% natural ingredients. This means better absorption by the body and a smaller dosage for the dog.

Brewer’s Yeast

Our Brewer’s Yeast is a supplement filled with seven different B vitamins from yeast, making it a real booster for healthy skin and coat, as well as strong claws. We recommend giving the supplement as a course for 6-8 weeks.

To provide extra support to the immune system, Brewer’s Yeast also contains zinc, selenium, and iron. This means that Brewer’s Yeast can also help improve skin health by strengthening its barrier function and reducing the risk of infections.

Spirulina

A fun fact: Spirulina is the supplement with the highest nutrient density!

Due to all the nutrients in Spirulina, it becomes a broad supplement that helps improve skin health while also strengthening your dog’s coat. It is a natural antioxidant and supports metabolic processes, boosts the immune system, and increases energy.

Additionally, our Spirulina can help avoid excessive stomach acid production and give your dog fresher breath.

Collagen Hydrolysate

Our Collagen Hydrolysate is a natural supplement that helps promote healthy skin, a vibrant coat, and strong claws in your dog. Collagen is an important building block for claws and also helps improve skin health and elasticity.

To increase the absorption of Collagen Hydrolysate, you can give it together with Rosehip Powder, which is our rosehip powder filled with vitamin C.

Collagen Hydrolysate is also beneficial for joints and movement.

MSM

The supplement MSM is rich in sulfur, an important mineral in the body’s collagen and keratin, which build up hair and skin. It also helps improve skin health by reducing inflammation and redness, for example, in cases of allergies and sensitivities.

Additionally, MSM is beneficial for the development of cartilage, strengthening joints, tendons and connective tissue.

You can give the supplement as a course or for preventive purposes.

If your dog has any problems, we always recommend consulting a veterinarian to see if it needs medical care.
